Burr Tupper

Burr came to the island in the summer of ’96. He arrived with a wealth of building experience, some of it international. He has worked as a general contractor on Nantucket for 15 years. In 2007, he co-founded Verde, as a green design and build company with fellow GC Ian Konecko and Architect Rebecca Anderson. While broadening the company's scope, he has continued to advocate for sustainable and best building practices. Burr has served on the Nantucket Zoning Board of Appeals and on the board of Habitat for Humanity. He is an active member of the Nantucket Builders Association. He is a LEED accredited professional, which is the nation’s premier green building credential.

Augie Owen

Field Operations

After growing up in West Wales,  Augie traveled the world extensively using his mechanical background to seek adventure throughout Africa, South America, and Australasia. He switched his focus to wood construction when he arrived at his destination of Nantucket in the late 90’s.

Sam Iskandaryan

Controller

Samuel is a native of historic Yerevan, Armenia. He earned his PhD in economics in 2009 and moved to Nantucket Island, which reminds him of the beauty of his native land. Since then he has devoted himself to a career in accounting and bookkeeping.
